Brewing & Ritual

Fill the gold stainless steel heart strainer with the Love Potion Tea. After you’ve boiled water, place the strainer into your favorite mug or tea cup and let the dried herbs brew.

Steeping for 11 minutes will lead to a nice subtle flavor. Steeping for 22 minutes or more will lead to a an herbal infusion with deeper qualities of the tea.

Set the strainer aside. Notice the smells. When the tea cools enough, notice the flavors. If you are inspired to journal, create art, call a loved one, then do so. This is time for yourself and giving love to your being.

When you have finished your tea ritual, return the herbs to the earth in the best way you see fit to give thanks for this nourishing herbal blend.

Reminder of contraindications: Potential contraindications for those on blood thinners or heart condition medications, as well as pregnancy. See “Further Suggestions” for ways you can work with this blend safely.

Adding milk or sweetener: It is nice to experience this tea as is before adding your preferred choice of milk or sweetener. I enjoy this brew as it stands alone, but with other brews I will often add oat milk and local raw honey. As always, listen to your body and the nourishment you need — we are all unique.
