This is a poem dedicated to one of my oldest and most favorite teachers. A creative healing piece born from a decolonization prompt for April 2nd from the Center for Babaylan Studies for National Poetry Month. She was magnificent in her beauty and wise in her teachings.

Prompt for today: Dedicate a poem to a teacher, someone who taught you lessons you will never forget. I went with a non-human teacher.
